文化意识
了解西方人的习俗对学习语言有很大的帮助。与西方人相处,有很多问题最好不要问:
1. 年龄问题。西方人喜欢自己显得年轻, 尤其是妇女与老人,他们不喜欢别人询问自己的年龄。
2. 婚姻问题。 西方人认为婚姻是个人隐私,询问他人婚姻是不礼貌的。
3. 收入问题。 西方人认为收入是反映一个人的能力,地位。 因此,他们不喜欢谈论经济情况。
4. 住址问题。西方人不会随便请人去家里做客。

人称代词的主格在句子中当主语,宾格在句子作动词或介词的宾语。如:
1)I like it 我喜欢它。I为主格。 It为宾格
2)She like English. 她喜欢英语. she为主语。
3)Do they go with us? they为主格 us为 宾格

---Sure. 当然可以。
May 为情态动词。表示“可以, 可能。”may 用于疑问句表示“请求许可” 回答通常为:Sure./Of course. No, you can’t.如:

call为:“叫,喊,打电话”等意思。
3. Do you have any friends here? 你在这儿有朋友吗?
Do/does助动词,构成一般现在时的否定句与疑问句。do通常用于第一,第二单复数,第三人称复数。does用于第三人称单数;如:
Do you like English?你喜欢英语吗?
They don’t like apples at all. 他们一点都不喜欢苹果。
Does he like Chinese? 他喜欢汉语吗?
My father doesn’t live in Haikou. 我父亲不住在海口。

with和……一起,如:

---Yes, I do. But only a little.可以。但只能说一点点。
1) speak说,指说的能力; 或指学说话,说某种语言.如:
说英语: speak English
2) A little :意思为:“一点点”,修饰不可数名词。如:
A little Chinese一点点汉语;
I can speak a little Japanese.我能说一点曰语
That boy can’t speak yet.那小男孩还不会说话。

Live in“住在“注意介词in,如:

在英美国家, 饮食习惯为一曰三餐。
早餐时间为早上八点。早餐内容个地区有所不同。简单的早餐有:果汁,面包及咖啡。丰盛的有香肠, 火腿或各种做法的鸡蛋。

some 可修饰可数名词也可修饰不可数名, 如:

Some 通常与肯定句连用,any 通常用于否定句与一般疑问句。如:
---Do you have any books ? 你有书吗?
---Yes, I have some. 有,我有一些(书)。
注意:在表示征求意见时,some 可于一般疑问句,如:
Would you like some eggs?
egg为可数名词,可数名词还有:apple, orange cake, book, pen等;meat为不可数名词,如:Milk, chicken, bread , French fries, coke, coffee, rice, orange juice, fish, porridge, water, beef, 等也是不可数名词。不可数名词通常没有复数形式。不可数名词通常不能直接与具体的数词连用,如需连用应为数词+量词of+ 不可数名词;如:
a cup of tea 一杯茶 three pieces of bread 三块面包
ten bottles of apple juice十瓶橙汁 two bowls of rice 两碗米饭
3) Give me some meat, please. 请给我一些肉。
give sb. sth.=give sth to sb. 把某物给某人。如:
Give him your pen,please=Give your pen to him, please
请把你的笔给他。
3. What about…? 意为“…….怎样“,也可说为How about; 如:
What /How about some porridge,? 吃些粥怎样?
4. ---Why not have some…? 为什么不吃
---Good idea. Let,s have some…. 好主意。让我们吃吧
1)Why not=why don’t you 为什么不?提建议的一种说法,如果对方同意,则回答:Good idea./OK/All right.. 如不同意,则回答:No, let’s….
Why not +动词原形,如:
Why not go shopping? =Why don’t you go shopping?为什么不去逛街?
Why not have some coffee?= Why don’t you have some coffee?为什么不喝咖啡?

也可说为“Can I help you? What can I do for you?”该句子在不同的场合有不同的含义。如去商店,该句为“您要买的什么?”

---Not bad. 不错。 What do you think of …?….认为…用于询问对方某事的观点/看法/意见。也可说为:How do you like…?

1) 回答应为Yes, I’d love to.或 OK. I’d love to. 不能说Yes. I’d love。
