【教案设计说明】
四年级的学生已掌握一定的语言知识结构,具备一定量的语言材料,但可能因为年龄和生活积累的关系,大部分学生不善于把已有的语言材料进行有机地整合。如何让学生有话可说,尽可能地表达自己,一直是我每节课追求的目标。
本教时主要让学生掌握五个新词:dive, fly, cook, paint, super 和学会用can 来表示一个人的能力。对于学生来说,本课时出现的几个新词的发音和拼写都比较简单,对已经掌握一定量的读音规则的四年学生来说不是难事。所以,我把重点放在了这些词的使用上。例:在教fly这个单词时,我设计了Which animal can fly?这个问题,让学生根据平时积累的知识,畅所欲言。又如,让学生带着问题观看课Supergirl和电影《超人》的片段,之后,通过教师的讲解了解super的含义。
Can的使用在一年级就学过,所以让学生用can造几个句子并不是一件难事,但语言是用来交际的。所以,我在设计本课时时,注重给学生提供一定的情境,让他们把学到的知识真正能动地使用。譬如:Do a survey是在每个小组内选择一个能力较强的学生担任组长,负责调查,完成问卷并向全班学生阐述本小组的调查报告。这既让学生在模拟的社会生活中巩固了语言知识,又培养了学生的交际能力和合作能力。而后的作业是让每个学生访问一个他所喜欢的人,并把结果整理成报告,以口头和书面的形式汇报,这是在真正的生活中运用所学的语言知识,真正做到学以致用。
