1. W:   Who is your best friend?

    M:   Mary. She is tall and has short hair.

2. W:   Why not go on a picnic this weekend, David?

    M:   Good idea. I’ll buy some food this afternoon.

3. W:   What do you usually do with your friend after school?

    M:   We usually practice volleyball with friends.

4. W:   I like riding a bike, but I always walk to school. What about you, Jim?

     M:   For me, I often take a bus to school.

5. W:   Swimming is my favourite sport. I go swimming twice a week.

    M:   I like football best. And I play it after school every day.

6. W:   Is Li Hua your hero, Simon?

    M: Yes. He is a member of Huanghe Football Club and plays football very well. Many people like him.

7. W:   What would you like to do after school, John?

    M:   I usually listen to music. It makes me feel great.

8. W: The parents’ meeting starts at two o’clock and finishes at five o’clock in the afternoon.

    M:   That’s really a long meeting.
