Teaching procedures:
Step 1. Revision
Revise what we’ve learnt in Unit 1.
Check the homework.
Step 2. Warm up
Guide the students to read the words of shopping: market, supermarket, biscuit, lemon, strawberry, size, take, may, try, certainly, sale, price, look, fresh.
Get the students to talk about shopping and make up new dialogue like this:
Can I help you?
Yes, I’d like to buy…
Encourage them to give us more sentences.
Step 3. Presentation
Get the students to look at the title of this unit and read through the words. Make sure the students understand them all. Choose some of them to answer the following questions.
1 Do you buy things on the Internet?
2 What can you buy?
3 How do you pay for it?
4 How is it changing our lives?
5 Is it good or bad?
