§自主学习案
根据句意及汉语提示写出单词。

Step 1　准备与热身(Preparation) 
This activity provides reading practice using the target language.
Look at 3a and answer my questions.
T：What do you do on weekends? Now to learn more about the things you do，please find out more with your partners about the activities.
Models：
A：What do you usually do on weekends?
B：I always exercise.
A：What do they do on weekends?
B：They often help with housework.

Step 2　呈现与输入 (Presentation)
First ，teach students how to use the words (do/does)．
Then ask students to do the following exercises.
Complete the questions with do or does. Then match the questions and answers in 3a.
Then do the writing work. (3b)
Ask students to do chain drills practicing writing about the Wh－questions.
Then show the questions and your partner’s answers prepared in advance and ask students to fill in the blanks together.
T：Now try to use the words given to write questions. Then ask and answer them with a partner. I will give you several minutes to think about your answers.
The goal: Students can differentiate the Wh－questions clearly.
Step 3　练习与体验 (Practice)  
Ask students do interview, three of the classmates to fill in the following chart. Find out what time they do these activities. Then give a report to the class.
T：English is difficult，but it can be easy if you have some good methods.How do you study English？How often do you study English？Please work in groups of four and write about your answers in this chart.
Step 4　运用与生成 (Production) 
Ask some students to sum up this lesson by overhead projector and then have a test for the aim.
Check the answers and correct the answers.
Step 5　巩固与提高(Progress)
【探究点】
She sometimes goes shopping.  她常常去购物。
sometimes意为“有时”，是副词，相当于at times；sometime意为“将来的某个时候”；some times意为“数次”；some time意为“一段时间”。
go shopping意为“去购物”；类似的结构有：go swimming(去游泳), go boating(去划船), go fishing(去钓鱼)等等。
