如何让孩子们常回家看看？

An old man in Phoenix, a city in the southwest of the United States, calls his son in New York.

       “I hate to ruin (破坏) your day, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing (离婚),” he says.

“Dad, what are you talking about?” the son asks.

“We’re sick of each other and I’m sick of talking about this. So you call your sister in Chicago and tell her,” the old man says.

       The son calls his sister. “Mom and dad are getting divorced,” he says.

       The daughter calls her dad right away.

       “Don’t do a single thing until I get there,” she screams (尖叫) at him.

       “I’m calling my brother back and we’ll both be there tomorrow.”

       The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife.

       “Okay. They’re coming for Thanksgiving,” he says. “Now how do we get them here for Christmas?”
