Mr  Smith  had  a  few  days’  holiday , so  he  said  to  his  wife , “  I’m  going to  the  big  city  by  train .”  He  put  on  his  best  clothes ,  took  a  new book ,went  to  the  station  and  got  into  the  train . He  had  a  beautiful  hat , and  he  often  put  his  head  out  of  the  window  and  liked  at  the  beautiful  scenery . Suddenly  the  wind  pulled  his  hat  off .

Mr  Smith  quickly  took  his  new  book  and  threw  it out  of  the  window, too .

A  young  man  on  the  the  train  said  with  a  smile , “Is  your  book  going  to  bring  your  beautiful  hat  back .”

“No ,” Mr  Smith  answered , “ but  I  haven’t  written  my  name  and  address  on  my  hat  while  there’s  my  name  and  address  on  my  new  book . Someone  is  going  to  find  both  of  them  near each  other . Maybe  he’s  going  go  send  me  the  new  book  and  the  beautiful  hat . “
