Unit 2 Revision
一、              Teaching aims:
1.       Revise how to use “more…than”, “fewer…than” and “less…than” to compare amounts;
2.       Revise how to use “the most”, “the fewest” and “the least” to compare more than two things;
3.       Revise how to use “the same as” and “different from” to say that something is exactly like another thing or that one thing is unlike another thing;
4.       Revise how to use vocabulary to distinguish between British and American usage;
5.       Revise how to use adjectives to talk about opposites;
6.       Revise how to use “like” and “alike” .
二、              Teaching procedures(具体内容看课件)

a)       Use some pictures to review the usage of “like” , “alike”, “the same as” and “different from”.
b)      Use some pictures to review the usages about the words “little” and “few”.
修饰可数名词,few表示少到几乎没有,a few表示有一些
修饰不可数名词,little表示少到几乎没有,a little表示有一些
fewer+countable words than
Less+uncountable words than
c) Use some pictures to review the usages about the words “many” and “much”.
Many 修饰可数名词;much修饰不可数名词
Much----more-----most
Many---more----most
A has more… than…
C has the most of all.
Do some exercises:
看图(图见课件),并找出图中四个动物的相同处与不同处。
1.Keke’s T-shirt is                  Mimi’s T-shirt ,but it is the same               Mimi’s T-shirt.
2.Mimi’s boots are         Keke’s boots ,but they are       than Keke’s boots .
3.Shanshan’s trousers are                       Lingling’s trousers, and their boots are________, too.
4.Their umbrellas are       .
5.Mimi’s skirt is        than Keke’s skirt, Keke’s skirt is      than Mimi’s skirt.
6.Lingling’s mouth is             ,and Keke’s mouth is              of all.
7.Keke’s ears are       than Shanshan’s ears .Shanshan’s ears are       than Mimi’s and Lingling’s ears. So Keke’s ears are               of all.
d) Use pictures to talk about lives in British schools and American schools:
What does a school look like?
What subjects are there in a school? What do you think about them? Why?
What activities do you do in a school?
What is an ideal school? (What is your school like? /Location  Timetable / Your like and dislike/
Your activities)
