Step 2 presentation
T: Discuss what is your favorite festival then make a report in class
Step 3. 1a
Make sure students know the meaning of the four sentences in la ,and match then with the pictures
Step 4. 1b Listening
T: Mary and Bill are talking about festivals ,can you tell me what festivals they are talking about .
1) Play the tape for the first time and tell the answer
2) Play the tape for the second time and circle T or F
3) Play the recording a third time and fill the listening text in the exercise book ,then read the text twice aloud .
Step 5 1c Practice
1) Use the structure sentences to talk about the festivals.
2) Then talk about more pictures
Step 6 grammar and exercise
Do the excise and check the answers .
