lay(原形)→lays(单数第三人称形式)→laying(现在分词)→laid(过去式)→laid(过去分词)
►refuse
是及物动词，意为“拒绝”。

现在完成进行时的结构为have/has__been＋动词ing，表示动作发生在过去，一直延续到现在，可能还要继续下去。常与延续性时间状语连用。比如：for＋时间段，since＋时间点。

表示具体某一天的上午、下午或晚上时，介词用on。例如：on a cold winter evening。
