一、教学目标:
a.语言知识目标:
1、学习单词shout, wolf, sheep, bored, village, everyone, field, laugh, lie, 词组once upona time, look after
2、学习功能句There was a boy.He looked after sheep.The boy ran to the village.He shouted, “Wolf, wolf!”The said,“Don’t tell lies!”
b.语言技能目标:
1、复习运用规则动词及不规则动词的一般过去式;
2、描述过去发生的事。
c.情感态度目标:通过学习本课这则寓言故事,教育学生做诚实守信的人。
教学重、难点:
1、规则动词及不规则动词的一般过去式。
2、 学习并掌握单词shout, wolf, sheep, bored, village, everyone, field, laugh, lie, 词组once upona time, look after,功能句He shouted, “Wolf, wolf!”
二、学生分析
对于规则及不规则动词的过去式,学生在前一册教材中已经学习过,本课的主要目的就在于复习巩固运用。本课的语言呈现材料为一则寓言故事,学生对其汉语版本耳熟能详,因此兴趣盎然。

四、教学流程
Step 1 Warmmer
1. Greetings
2. Review the verbs of past tense.(say---said eat---ate run---ran come---came is—was are—were)
设计意图:这几个过去式是学生已学过的,而且本课的课文也涉及的,通过复习一是让学生明确本课的学习重点是一般过去时,二是为课文学习打好基础。
Step 2 Presentation
1. T:Today,we’ll go on learning the past tense.We’ll learn a story.Its name is Don’t tell lies!
2.Teach the word “lie”and teach the sentences.
3.To show the card of the word “bored”.And tell the story,“Once upon a time,there was a boy.He was bored.Why?”(Teach the words and the phrase—lie,once upon a time,bored)
设计意图:让学生明确一般过去时的使用范围,同时引出故事主题。
Step 3 The text
1.Listen to the tape and answer the question:What’s the boy’s job?
2.Teach the new words and the phrase (look after,sheep)and the sentence(He looked after sheep).
3.Listen to the tape again from Picture1 to Picture3 and answer the questions.
a.What did the boy do?
b.What did the people do?
4.Teach the words(village,shout,wolf,everyone,field,laugh)and the sentences(The boy ran to the village.He shouted,“wolf,wolf.”)
5.Read the text from Picture1 to Picture3.
6.T: The next day, What did the boy do??
7.Listen to the tape from Picture4 to Picture5.And answer the question.
8.Read them.
9.T:But then one day,what happened?Why?
10.The wolf ate all the sheep.The boy told lies.
11.So what does the story tell us? (Don’t tell lies!)
12.Read the text.
设计意图:由于课文较长,针对故事情节分成三部分进行教学,分散难点。
