牛津译林版八年级上Unit4 Do it yourself Grammar课件+教案+习题
教学步骤
A Giving instructions
Step I呈现
1教师说:Suzy\'s cousin thinks he\'s good at DIY. Does his mother agree? 学生回答:No, she doesn\'t教师继续提问:Why do you think so? 鼓励学生回答:When he was painting the walls, his mother said, \'Stop it.”教师板书:Stop it启发学生思考如何用祈使句来表达指令。
2引导学生自己总结祈使句的构成:We start a sentence with the base form of a verb when we want to tell people what to do. We add do not/don\'t in front of the verb when we want to tell people not to do something. We often add please in a sentence if we want to give instructions politely.
3教师说:Now open your books and turn to page 47, please Let\'s read the sentences together让学生翻到课本第47页,朗读A部分的例句。
Step II操练
1教师用课件呈现第47页制作卡片的图片:Please look at these four pictures. What\'s Millie doing? 引导学生回答:She\'s making cards教师接着说:Do you know how to make cards? What should we do first? 引导学生回答:We should cut out pieces of card first让学生根据图片猜测生词cut的含义,教师领读并解释。
2教师说:Open your books and turn to page 47. Look at the pictures carefully. Can you help Millie complete the instructions? 让学生观察课本第47页图片,并完成填空练习。
3教师说:Let\'s read the sentences together. 让学生集体朗读句子并核对答案。
Step III活动
1教师说:Now let’s play a game. I\'11 tell you what to do and please follow my instructions教师说表示指令的祈使句,让学生做与之相符的动作。
(1) Touch your nose.
(2) Stand up.
(3) Put up your hands.
(4) Don’t keep your books open.
(5) Don\'t close your eyes.
2组织学生一起玩名为“Eddie says…”的游戏。要求学生全体起立,教师担当发令员和裁判的角色。游戏开始,教师发指令,如:Eddie says “stand up”. 要求学生快速反应并做出与之相符的动作。动作不相符或反应明显慢下其他人的学生即遭淘汰并坐下,小组所剩人数最多的为优胜小组(或可要求学生做出与指令相反的动作)。
B Using should and had better
Step I呈现
1教师通过复习Reading部分的内容来引出用should等方法提出建议。教师说:Suzy doesn\'t think her cousin knows much about DIY either. What did she advise him to do? 引导学生回答:She advised him to take a course in DIY教师追问:What do you think she said to him about this?引导学生回答:You should take a course in DIY. 教师将这个句子写在黑板上,将should用红色标出。
2教师继续说:Do you think we can use had better instead of should in this sentence? 随即板书:You had better take a course in DIY. 引导学生思考并体会两个句子的意义。
3教师用课件呈现更多句子,启发学生思考should和had better的使用规律:Here are some more sentences. Can you work out when to use should and had better?
(1) To keep fit, you should/had better have a healthy diet.
(2) You should not/had better not leave litter.
(3) It’s going to rain. You should/had better take an umbrella.
4引导学生,总结:We use should and had better when giving advice and telling people what we think is the best or right thing to do. The tone of had better is stronger than should

2教师说:You are giving advice to your friends. Rewrite the following sentences using should (not) and had better (not)让学生分别用should和had better改写句子。用课件呈现下列句子:
(1) It\'s time for class. Put your comic books away
