Be careful. Don’t walk alone late at night. Stay away from empty places in the daytime or at night. You’d better travel with another person. Most of the people you meet at hotels are friendly, but remember that these people are still strangers.
Be confident. Act as you know where you are and where you are going even if you don’t. You’d better not look at a tourist map in a busy street! If you need to look at your map, go inside a shop. Most owls (猫头鹰) have big, yellow eyes. Their eyes are different from other birds’ eyes. Many birds have their eyes on the sides of their heads. Each eye sees a different spot, but an owl’s eyes are placed like a person’s eyes. They are in the front of its head. Both eyes see almost the same spot. People can move their eyes up, down, and from side to side without moving their heads. The owl, however, cannot move its eyes at all. It must move its head to look at something. An owl can turn its head nearly all the way around. An owl can see in bright light, but it likes to sleep during the day. When night comes, its round eyes open wide.
